Removal





NAVIGATION / MULTI INFO DISPLAY: HARD DISK DRIVE: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
* After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Service Precautions.
* A hard disk drive (HDD) is built into the navigation receiver assembly to store map and other data and is used for the navigation system. Therefore, make sure to read all of the precautions thoroughly before handling the navigation receiver assembly.
* When removing the hard disk drive, eliminate static electricity by touching the vehicle body to prevent components from being damaged.

2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 1 DECK BOARD Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 2 DECK BOARD Removal

5. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Removal

6. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH Removal

7. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

8. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL Removal

9. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal

11. REMOVE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET Removal

12. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the No. 1 radio receiver bracket Removal.

13. REMOVE HARD DISK DRIVE

(a) Remove the 2 screws.





(b) Disengage the 2 guides to remove the cover.

(c) Pull out the hard disk drive from the navigation receiver assembly in the direction shown by the arrow in the illustration to remove it.
