B2000 - Short to B+ in Seat Belt Motor RH Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The seat belt control ECU receives information from the driving support ECU assembly using CAN communication and tightens the seat belt by operating the motor in the front seat outer belt assembly RH.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
CAUTION:
The pretensioner is built into the front seat outer belt assembly RH. Be sure to follow the correct inspection procedure, as failure to follow the correct procedure (such as inspection of incorrect connectors) may deploy the pretensioner.
NOTICE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Service Precautions.
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Disconnect the S7 front seat outer belt assembly RH connector.
HINT
Do not remove the front seat outer belt assembly RH.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:

CAUTION:
Do not check a wrong connector.
NG -- REPLACE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU)
(a) Disconnect the L2 seat belt control ECU connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU)
OK -- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU Removal
