C1626 - Steering Angle Sensor Failure

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored if the parking assist ECU receives a signal via CAN communication from the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly that indicates an internal malfunction.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* When the "System initializing" message is displayed on the navigation computer sub-assembly after the auxiliary battery cable has been disconnected, correct the steering angle neutral point Initialization.
* Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the advanced parking guidance system may be needed Calibration.

PROCEDURE

1. REPLACE SPIRAL CABLE WITH SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Replace the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly Removal.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT

(a) Clear the DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.

(b) Check for DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.
