SEAT: REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Place the rear seat assembly RH in the cabin.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(b) Temporarily install the rear seat assembly RH with the 5 bolts.

(c) Lift up the rear seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the rearmost position.

(d) Tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.





Torque : 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)

HINT
Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

(e) Lift up the rear seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the foremost position.

(f) Tighten the 3 bolts on the rear side of the seat.





Torque : 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)

HINT
Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

2. INSPECT SEAT SLIDE ADJUSTER LOCKS

(a) During the sliding operation of the rear seat, check that the left and right adjusters move together smoothly and lock simultaneously. If the seat adjusters do not lock simultaneously, loosen the seat installation bolts to adjust the adjuster position.

3. INSTALL REAR SEAT LEG STOPPER

(a) Lift up the rear seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the rearmost position.

(b) Install the rear seat leg stopper with the bolt.

Torque : 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)

4. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER

(a) Engage the 2 guides and 2 claws to install the front inner seat track bracket cover.

NOTICE:
The front inner seat track bracket cover and front outer seat track bracket cover are not interchangeable.

5. INSTALL FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the front outer seat track bracket cover.

NOTICE:
The front inner seat track bracket cover and front outer seat track bracket cover are not interchangeable.

6. INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER

(a) Lift up the rear seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the foremost position.

(b) Engage the 4 claws to install the rear inner seat track bracket cover.

7. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY

8. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

9. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
