P410 HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: GENERATOR CABLE: REMOVAL
1. PRECAUTION
NOTICE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Service Precautions.
2. REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP
Removal
3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
4. DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine) Coolant (for Engine)
5. DRAIN COOLANT (for Inverter) Coolant (for Inverter)
6. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER Removal
7. REMOVE NO. 1 INVERTER BRACKET Removal
8. DISCONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE Removal
9. REMOVE INVERTER COVER Removal
10. CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE Removal
11. DISCONNECT FRAME WIRE Removal
12. DISCONNECT GENERATOR CABLE Removal
13. DISCONNECT MOTOR CABLE Removal
14. DISCONNECT NO. 2 ENGINE WIRE Removal
15. INSTALL INVERTER COVER Removal
16. DISCONNECT NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM WIRE Removal
17. DISCONNECT WATER HOSE Removal
18. REMOVE INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY Removal
19. REMOVE INVERTER RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY Removal
20. REMOVE INVERTER TRAY BRACKET Removal
21. REMOVE RADIATOR PIPE
(a) Disconnect the 3 clamps, No. 1 radiator hose, No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 3 radiator hose.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts and radiator pipe.
22. REMOVE GENERATOR CABLE
NOTICE:
Wear insulated gloves.
(a) Disconnect the generator cable clamp from the motor cable bracket.
(b) Remove the 3 bolts and slide the generator cable connector shell back.
(c) Disengage the 2 claws to remove the terminal cap.
(d) Remove the 3 bolts and generator cable from the hybrid transaxle assembly.
