Removal

BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Manual Seat)

Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Power Seat)

Removal

4. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH Removal

5. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH Removal

6. REMOVE AUDIO AMPLIFIER COVER (for 10 Speakers) Removal

7. REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY (for 10 Speakers) Removal

8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Removal

9. REMOVE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR

(a) Disengage the clips and peel back the floor carpet.

HINT
Peel back the floor carpet enough to allow removal and installation of the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.

(b) Disconnect the connector from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.
