DOOR LOCK: DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER (for Hatchback): REMOVAL

NOTICE:
Special caution should be taken when handling precision electronic components.

1. REMOVE TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER

(a) for Type A:

(1) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, pry apart the transmitter housing cover.

NOTICE:
* Do not use excessive force when prying apart the housing cover.
* Remove the transmitter housing cover while the switches face downward to prevent the switch knob from falling.

(b) for Type B:

(1) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, pry apart the transmitter housing cover.

2. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE SET SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) for Type A:

(1) Using a precision screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, remove the door control transmitter module set.

NOTICE:
When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the electrical transmitter from being damaged.

(b) for Type B:

(1) Remove the door control transmitter module set.
