1NZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL: ECM (for Hatchback): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK

Removal (from 07/2011)

2. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 VENTILATOR SEAL Removal (from 07/2011)

3. REMOVE FRONT AIR SHUTTER SEAL RH Removal (from 07/2011)

4. REMOVE INNER COWL TOP TO COWL BRACE Removal (from 07/2011)

5. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL Removal (from 07/2011)

6. REMOVE ECM

(a) Pull up the lever to loosen the lock and disconnect the 2 connectors from the ECM.





NOTICE:
If there are is any foreign matter such as mud or water on a connector, clean the connector.

(b) Remove the bolt, nut and the ECM.





7. REMOVE NO. 1 ECM BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 ECM bracket.





8. REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 ECM bracket.
