1NZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL: KNOCK SENSOR (for Hatchback): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL KNOCK SENSOR

(a) Install the knock sensor onto the cylinder block with the nut as shown in the illustration.





Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
* Make sure that the knock sensor is in the correct position.
* If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

HINT
Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the knock sensor Programming and Relearning.

(b) Connect the knock sensor connector.
