1NZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL: ECM (for Hatchback): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL NO. 2 ECM BRACKET

(a) Install the No. 2 ECM bracket onto the ECM with the 2 screws.

Torque : 3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27 in-lbf)

2. INSTALL NO. 1 ECM BRACKET

(a) Install the No. 1 ECM bracket onto the ECM with the 2 screws.

Torque : 3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27 in-lbf)

3. INSTALL ECM

(a) Install the ECM with the bolt and nut.

Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

(b) Pull down the lever to engage the lock and connect the 2 connectors to the ECM.

NOTICE:
Make sure that the levers are securely locked.

6. INSTALL FRONT AIR SHUTTER SEAL RH Installation (from 07/2011)

7. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 VENTILATOR SEAL Installation (from 07/2011)

8. INSTALL FRONT WIPER MOTOR AND LINK

Installation (from 07/2011)

9. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
