INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR












1. CHECK THE RESISTANCE BETWEEN TERMINALS.
1. Set the starter switch to "LOCK" and connect the signal check harness.
2. Disconnect the signal check harness connector on the ECU side.
3. Measure the resistance between AFT+ (A32) and AGD2 (D34) terminals of ECU connector (vehicle harness side).

HINT: Measure the resistance under any of the following conditions.

Standard:
13.6 - 18.4 kohms at -20 °C {-4 °F}
2.21 - 2.69 kohms at 20 °C {68 °F}
0.49 - 0.67 kohms at 60 °C {140 °F}













2. CHECK THE INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR.
1. Disconnect the connector of intake air temperature (air flow) sensor.
2. Measure the resistance between AFT- and AFT+ terminals of the intake air temperature (air flow) sensor.

HINT: Measure the resistance under any of the following conditions.

Standard:
13.6 - 18.4 kohms at -20 °C {-4 °F}
2.21 - 2.69 kohms at 20 °C {68 °F}
0.49 - 0.67 kohms at 60 °C {140 °F}
