FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR







1. CHECK THE RESISTANCE BETWEEN TERMINALS.







1. Set the starter switch to "LOCK" and connect the signal check harness.
2. Disconnect the signal check harness connector on the ECU side.
3. Measure the resistance between THF+ (E27) and AGD2 (D34) terminals of ECU connector (vehicle harness side).

HINT: Measure the resistance under any of the following conditions.

Standard:
2.45 kohms at 20 °C {68 °F}
1.15 kohms at 40 °C {104 °F}
584 ohms at 60 °C {140 °F}
318 ohms at 80 °C {176 °F}












2. CHECK THE FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR.
1. Disconnect the connector of fuel temperature sensor.
2. Measure the resistance of the fuel temperature sensor.

HINT: Measure the resistance under any of the following conditions.

Standard:
2.45 kohms at 20 °C {68 °F}
1.15 kohms at 40 °C {104 °F}
584 ohms at 60 °C {140 °F}
318 ohms at 80 °C {176 °F}
