Difficult shifting when the transmission is at operating temperature could be caused by linkage that is out of adjustment or needing lubrication.

If shifting is still difficult after adjusting and lubricating the linkage, install shift selector shaft, Part No. 020 301 235 K.

The selector shaft, Part No. 020 301 235 K, is installed in production as of transmission No. ...13507.
