Valve Guide, Replacing

- clean and check cylinder head. Guides must not be replaced in heads in which valve seats can no longer be reworked
- press worn guides out from camshaft side with tool 10-206. Valve guides with shoulder (repair guides) from combustion chamber side
- coat new guides with oil and press into cold cylinder head from camshaft side using tool 10-206. Press guides in as fas as they will go

NOTE: Once guide shoulder is sealed do not use more than 1 ton pressure or guide shoulder may break

- ream guides by hand using proper cutting lubricant and tool 10-215
- reface valve seats
