Blower Motor: Service and Repair


Blower Motor Removal and Installation

- Remove the lower-right instrument panel tray by removing the screws.

- With full-length trays it is necessary to remove two screws securing the fuse panel to the tray.

NOTE: On models with passive restraint there may be a knee bar.

- Remove bolts at either end of knee bar, and remove knee bar.

- Pry out the glove box light assembly and remove its wiring connector.

- Remove the glove box by removing the screws around its rim.





- Remove the blower motor by depressing the retaining lug and twisting the assembly off as shown.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.

NOTE: Installation is in reverse order of removal.
