Throttle Full Close Switch: Adjustments

1. Connect a protractor (tool 3084 or equivalent) to the primary throttle shaft, and a stationary pointer to the throttle housing.
2. Disconnect the harness plug from the switch, and use an ohmmeter to determine the opening point of the switch.
3. Adjust the protractor to "zero" at the idle stop position.
4. Open throttle about 20° and close slowly.
5. The idle switch should trigger and show 0 ohms at 1° to 2.5°.
6. To adjust the idle switch, loosen the attachment screws and move the switch until the switching point is correct.
