Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

1. Switch the ignition "OFF".
2. Locate the CIS-E control unit, which is under the drip tray at the left rear of the engine compartment.
3. Remove the Hall control unit mounting bracket, which is above the CIS-E control unit.
4. Release the harness connector retaining clip.
5. Remove the harness connector.
6. Remove the mounting bolts and lift out the control unit.
7. Reinstall in reverse manner, using care when connecting the harness connector.
