Knock Sensor Module: Service and Repair

1. Switch the ignition "OFF".
2. Locate the knock control unit, which is located under the drip tray at the right rear of the engine compartment.
3. Disconnect the vacuum hose at the control unit.
4. Release the harness connector retaining clip.
5. Remove the harness connector.
6. Remove the mounting bolts and lift out the control unit.
7. Reinstall in reverse manner, using care when connecting the harness connector.
