Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Testing and Inspection

Air Flow Sensor:





1. Remove the harness connector at the air flow sensor.
2. Connect a volt/ohm meter between terminal 1 and 4 of the air flow sensor plug and measure the resistance.





^ Refer to the intake air temperature sensor graph for the appropriate measurement.

NOTE: It will be necessary to take an accurate measurement of the ambient air temperature.

If the measurement is incorrect the intake air temperature sensor is defective. The air flow sensor (complete unit) must be replaced.
