Fig. 9 Digifant Electrical Check A (Part 2 of 2):

1. Ensure battery voltage, fuse 18, Digifant system ground wires, fuel pump and fuel pump relay are all in satisfactory condition.
2. Turn ignition switch to Off position, then disconnect Digifant control unit electrical connector.
3. Connect Test Box tool No. VAG 1598 and adapter tool No. VAG 1598/9 or equivalents, to control unit electrical connector. Control unit remains disconnected.
4. Switch multimeter tool No. US 1119 or equivalent, to 20 volt range and connect to terminals of Test Box as indicated in Fig. 9.
