Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

The A/C pressure switch (arrow) is located near the lett side of the condenser.

A/C compressor clutch switching (between two blue wires):

switch closes above:
2.0 bar - 3.0 bar (29.0 psi - 43.5 psi)

switch opens above:
24.0 bar - 32.0 bar (348.0 psi - 464.0 psi)

Radiator cooling tan second speed switching (between red and black wires):

switch closes above:
12.5 bar - 16.0 bar (181.3 psi - 232.0 psi)





- visually inspect 0-ring seal (10.8 mm x 1.8 mm) to ensure proper seat in groove

Note: The A/C pressure switch can be removed without discharging the A/C system.
