Malfunction Indicator Lamp: Description and Operation

Digifant I Check Engine Light:

The "CHECK" light which is located on the instrument panel will illuminate if the Digifant I control unit detects a fault that would cause the vehicle to fail an emission inspection.
During normal operation the "CHECK" light will illuminate once, briefly, when the ignition is turned on. If a fault is recognized by the engine management system during normal operation the light will illuminate continuously.
