IGNITION COIL
Resistance between terminals 1 (-) and 15 (+) 0.50 - 0.70 ohms
Resistance between terminals 1 (-) and 4 (center) 3000 - 4000 ohms

IGNITION TIMING [1]
2250 ± 50 RPM Coolant temperature sensor disconnected
Checking 4° - 8° BTDC
Adjust to 6° - 1° BTDC

PLUG WIRES
Wire (complete) resistance 4800 - 7200 ohms
Wire (only) resistance approx. 0 ohm
Cap connector resistance 600 - 1400 ohms
Plug connector resistance 4000 - 6000 ohms

ROTOR
Resistance 600 - 1400 ohms

[1] Ignition timing, idle speed and CO need to be adjusted together to prevent driveablity problems. For complete procedure, refer to ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES.
Clear fault memory codes after disconnecting and reconnecting the coolant temperature sensor. If the base ignition timing has been changed, the control unit must be returned to reference settings. Refer to COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS
