Anti-theft alarm system, troubleshooting











A - Anti-theft alarm system cannot be switched on; Alarm system indicator light does not light up (from August, 1992)





B - Anti-theft alarm system cannot be switched off





C - Activated anti-theft alarm system does not trigger alarm horn





D - Activated anti-theft alarm system does not trigger flasher lights





E - Starter does not crank with anti-theft alarm system switched off

The following tools are required for troubleshooting.

^ Multimeter Fluke 83 or US 1119
^ Connector test kit VW 1594
^ Valid wiring diagram
