Longitudinal Inclination

^ Measure vehicle longitudinal inclination at longitudinal member.

^ Ensure that the longitudinal member surface is clean and smooth in area where the measurement is to be taken.

^ If the vehicle is inclined to the front or rear, add to or subtract from the caster value measured according to the direction the vehicle.

Example:

Angle measured 1° 10'

Correction value for vehicle inclination
(example: inclined to the front) + 1°
___________

Caster 2° 10'

(example: for vehicle inclination
of 1° 10' to the front)

Note:
Vehicle inclined to the front: add correction value.
Vehicle inclined to the rear: subtract correction value.
