Engine Code AAZ

Special Tools, Testers And Auxiliary Items:
- Fluke 83 multimeter (or equivalent)
- VW1594 connector test kit

Test Sequence:
- Remove harness connector from sensor for engine temperature -G27-.

- Measure resistance between engine temperature sensor terminals -1- and -3- using multimeter.

- Compare reading with specifications (see illustration).

If specification not obtained:
- Release coolant system pressure and replace engine temperature sensor.
