Disconnect vacuum nose from
EGR valve.

Connect US8O26 hand
vacuum pump to
EGR valve.

Operate
vacuum pump.
The diaphragm rod must move toward vacuum connection. Observe diaphragm rod via opening (arrow)

Disconnect US8026 hand
vacuum pump from
EGR valve.
Valve must audibly close (diaphragm rod moves toward intake manifold)
