Revision to model year 2000, Volkswagen Maintenance Schedule Service Circular V99-04, dated June 7, 1999

Due to technical changes, the vehicle battery "check and add" service has been revised. The vehicle battery electrolyte level should be checked at every 10,000 miles (16,000 km).

The new text now reads:

Every 10,000 Miles / 16,000 km Service Interval

Battery: Check electrolyte level; add if necessary
