Evaporative Emissions System: Locations

EVAP. Canister Components:

1 Connection:
- Between intake manifold and Throttle Valve Control Module J338.
2 2-pin harness connector
- Green.
- For EVAP canister purge regulator valve.
3 EVAP canister purge regulator valve N80.
- When engine is warm, valve will be activated by ECM J220 (pulsed).
- Installed position:
- Arrow points in direction of flow.
4 Retaining ring:
- For EVAP canister purge regulator valve.
5 Retainer:
- For retaining ring.
6 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
7 Junction piece
8 Vent line:
- From fuel tank check valve.
9 EVAP canister:
- located in front left wheel housing.
- Remove left front wheel housing liner to obtain access.
10 Bracket:
- For EVAP canister.
