Generator (GEN) Warning Lamp Does Not Go Out With Speed Increase.

Required for troubleshooting:
- Multimeter Fluke 83
- Connector Test Kit VW 1594
- Valid wiring diagram


NOTE: New compact alternators with a modified shape and different terminal designations will be introduced for Model year 2001. The screwed connection for the B+ wire is marked with B1+, the connection for D+ is marked with L and the connection for W marked with DFM on the compact alternator!
