Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)

The blinkers are activated via output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM).

Special tools and equipment

- VAG 1551 scan tool (or VAG 1552 mobile scan tool) with V.A.G 1551/3 cable
- V.A.G 1594 connector test kit
- V.A.G 1527 voltage test lamp
- Wiring diagram

Procedure

- Connect Scan Tool (ST), Initiate On Board Diagnostic (OBD).

Refer to "Scan Tool(ST), Connecting" Scan Tool Connecting and Initial Checks

Indicated on display:

Select function XX


- Operate scan tool according to indications on display:
- Enter 03 for function "Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)".
