Secondary Air Injection (AIR) system components, removing and installing

Notes:

- Components marked with * are checked via On Board Diagnostic (OBD)
- Components marked with ** are tested via output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)
- Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump relay -J299**.





1. Cylinder head
2. Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump motor -V101- */**
3. Bolt: Tighten to 20 Nm
4. Bracket
- For Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump motor
5. Bracket
- for Secondary Air Injection (AIR) solenoid valve
6. Nut: Tighten to8 Nm
7. Connector
- black, 2-pin
- for Secondary Air Injection (AIR) solenoid valve
8. to - combination valve
9. to Intake manifold
10. Secondary -Air Injection (AIR) solenoid valve -N112- */**
11. Connector
- For Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump motor
12. O-ring
- Replace if damaged
13. Intake hose
- Check for secure fitting
14. Pressure hose
- Check for secure fitting
15. Gasket
- Always replace Combination - valve Gasket
16. Bolt: Tighten to 8 Nm
17. Connecting piece
- for combination valve
18. Combination - valve
