Power Window Regulator, Servicing

- Remove front door trim.
- Remove window regulator.
- Remove bolt -1 - from window regulator / window regulator motor.







- Remove window regulator - 2 - in direction of arrow from regulator motor - 3 -.
- Ensure cable drum - 2 -, with cables, does not come out of housing during window regulator assembly or disassembly.







- Remove new regulator housing cover - 1 - from cable drum - 2 -.

NOTE: Greased surfaces must not be contaminated with dust or dirt. Grease with original grease G 000 450 02.







- Remove cover from new motor assembly - 1 - drive pinion.

NOTE: Greased surfaces must not be contaminated with dust or dirt. Grease with original grease G 000 450 02.







- Insert window regulator in direction of arrow with window regulator motor and tighten all bolts.
- Tighten bolts in specified sequence, tightening torque: 3.5 Nm (2.6 in.lb).

NOTE: Before removing window regulator, conduct functional check.
