- 3268 Camshaft guide





- T10029 Assembly tool

Test sequence
- Remove valve cover.





- Using mounting bolt for vibration damper, align crankshaft with TDC cyl. 1 position -arrow- by turning in direction of rotation of engine.





If TDC cyl. 1 position is correct, it will be possible to see a slot -arrow- on the sprockets of the intermediate shaft.

Note: This condition is only reached in every second TDC position.

If the groove cannot be seen:
- Turn crankshaft one turn further in direction of rotation of engine.





It must be possible to insert camshaft guide 3268 into both shaft slots.
