Cylinder Head

Note:
^ Always replace cylinder head bolts

Pretighten all bolts to 40 Nm.
Then tighten all bolts 1/4 turn (90°) turn further with a rigid wrench.
Then tighten all bolts again 1/4 turn (90°) further.





Reworking cylinder head sealing surface
Cylinder head reworking dimension: -a- min. 132.6 mm

Note: When the sealing surface has been reworked, the valves must be set deeper by the same amount.





Camshaft Bearing

^ When installing the bearing cap note offset. Before installing camshaft fit bearing caps and determine installed position.

Tighten bearing caps 2 and 4 alternately and diagonally to 20 Nm.
Install bearing caps 3, 1 and 5 and also tighten to 20 Nm.
