Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module (J791)







Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module (J791)

The parallel parking assistance control module is located behind the instrument panel on the driver side above the relay panel.


• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

Removal

- Remove the left trim on the driver side.

- Remove the screw - arrow - from the parallel parking assistance control module (J791) above the relay panel.






- Remove the windshield wiper system. Refer to => [ Windshield Wiper System ] Windshield Wiper System.

- Remove the nuts - arrows - and the cover - 1 -.






- Disconnect the connectors - arrows - and remove the parking aid control module (J446) - 1 - upward from the bracket.






Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Tighten the screw on the parallel parking assistance control module to 1.5 Nm.
