Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface (J533)

Removal

• If Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface is to be replaced, the work procedure to read out the codes stored in the module must always be performed. Refer to => [ Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface, Replace ] Programming and Relearning.

- Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

- Remove cover in driver's side footwell.

- Disengage harness connector - 1 - and disconnect it from Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface - 2 -.






- Press mounting pins - 3 - together - arrows - and out of holes.

Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
