Generator Compact Bracket Tightening Specifications and Sequence, 2.0L FSI Turbo

CAUTION!
Always follow tightening sequence of bracket in order to prevent damage to cylinder block and bracket.





Tightening Sequence of Bracket to Cylinder Block





Procedure

- Place bracket onto cylinder block.

• Insert all bolts before tightening to the specified tightening specifications.

- Tighten mounting bolts for bracket in the following sequence:

A Bolt, M10x45, 40 Nm, alignment bore
B Bolt, M10x45, 40 Nm
C Bolt, M10x45, 40 Nm
D Bolt, M10x45, 40 Nm
E Bolt, M10x45, 40 Nm
F Bolt, M10x45, 40 Nm
