Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

- Information for performing repair work on A/C refrigerant circuit and on handling refrigerant.
- Information on tools for repairing A/C refrigerant circuit.







NOTE:
- Refrigerant must be extracted beforehand using e.g. Refrigerant recycling/recovery unit Kent-Moore ACR4 (or UL approved equivalent). A/C service station VAS 6007A illustrated for reference only.
- The previously used service stations can still be used see catalog V.A.G tools.
- To prevent the ingress of damp air, all components of the refrigerant circuit which have been opened must be sealed with suitable plugs.
- The color coding of O-rings for the R134a refrigerant circuits has been discontinued. Colored and black O-rings are used.
- Threaded connections of refrigerant circuit must be coated with polyethylene glycol (PEG) VW material no. 294440 before installing.
- Under certain conditions, the dryer cartridge must no longer be replaced after each time refrigerant circuit is opened
