Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair

Brake Light Switch, from 11.06.05

On vehicles before 11.06.05, the brake light switch was located on the brake pedal.

Removing

- Remove the engine cover.

- On some vehicles, the intake hose must be removed

- Disconnect the connector - 1 - from the brake light switch.





- Remove bolt - 2 - from the master cylinder.

- Remove the brake light switch - 3 - downward and off from the master cylinder and remove it from the retaining tab at the top - 4 -.

Installing

- Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
