Electronic Throttle Control Module: Service and Repair



Throttle Valve Control Module

Removing







- Pull off air guide cover - 1 -, disengage clips sideways to do so.
- Unclip air duct - 2 -.







- Remove the air filter housing and connecting hose, while doing this remove the bolt - A -, disconnect the connector - B - and remove the spring clip - C -. Pay attention to the marking - D - when reinstalling.
- Disconnect electrical connection to Throttle Valve Control Module J338.






- Remove Throttle Valve Control Module J338 from intake manifold - arrows -.

Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:
- If a new Throttle Valve Control Module J338 was installed, adapt the engine control module to the Throttle Valve Control Module J338 "Guided Functions".
