Removal and Replacement






Throttle Valve Control Module

Removing

- Remove the engine cover/upper air filter housing. Refer to => [ Engine Cover/Upper Air Filter Housing ] Engine Cover/Upper Air Filter Housing.





- Remove the pipe - A - and hose - B - bolts - arrows -.

- Remove the intake air guide with fan shroud. Refer to => [ Coolant Fan and Coolant Fan 2 ] Service and Repair.

- Disconnect the electrical connector from the charge air pressure sensor - 3 -.





- Remove the bolts - 2 and 4 -.

- Loosen the clamp - 1 -, disconnect the quick release coupling on the charge air cooler and remove the charge air pipe with the hose downward.

- Remove the coolant pipe and oil dipstick guide tube from the intake manifold - arrows - and remove the oil dipstick guide tube from the engine.





- Remove the four bolts for the throttle valve control module and remove the module.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order. When doing this note the following:

During replacement, erase adaptation values and adapt Engine Control Module (ECM) to throttle valve control module
