Flap Positioning Module Assembly Overview, Convertible







1 - Side panel
- Painted in vehicle color
2 - Bolt
- 5x
- 3 Nm
- Remove side trim.
3 - Small flap base
4 - Small trim
- Trim - a - is delivered as a replacement part adhered to trim - b -
- Paint trim - a - in vehicle color
- Do not paint trim - b -.
5 - Bolt
- 1.5 Nm
6 - Face plate
- Do not paint.
7 - Foundation frame for flap positioning module
- Contains all components shown here.
- Removing:
- Remove bolt and remove trim.
- Remove bolts.
- Remove release cable.
8 - Release cable
For vehicles with power operated convertible without large flap base and flap servomotor from 06.04 to 11.04, flap servomotor is installed on right side of luggage compartment, meanwhile control head for convertible was modified for this function.
