Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
- Chilling spray (commercially available)

NOTE: Installed only on cold climate vehicles.

Regulator Flap, Checking
- Remove upper section of air filter and filter element.







- Check position of regulator flap - 1 -.
- Spray thermal element - arrow - with chilling spray.
- The regulator flap must close the warm air connection completely at + 14 degrees C and above.
- Below 0 degree C, the regulator flap must open the warm air connection completely.
