Inner and Outer Roof Crossmember, Convertible
Removal
- Remove the A-pillar trim. Refer to => [ Upper A-pillar Trim Assembly Overview ] .
- Remove the sun visor.
- Remove the interior rearview mirror.
- Remove the vanity mirror lamps.
- Remove bolts - 7 -.
- Loosen front trim - 5 - and disconnect at the rear.
- Remove crossmember seal - 4 -. Refer to => [ Roof Crossmember Seal and Retaining Track Assembly Overview, Convertible ] Roof Trim Overview.
- Detach the door seal in the area of the A-pillar - arrow -.
- Unhook trim - 1 - and push in an upward direction.
Installation
Installation is the reverse of removal.
• Prior to installing trims - 1 - and - 5 -, check the condition and seating of clips - 2 - and - 6 -. Replace the clips if necessary.
