Halogen Headlamp Range Control Positioning Motor, From 07.2005

• Always perform a basic setting to the headlamp whenever a positioning motor is removed and installed again or replaced.

CAUTION!
• Turn off the ignition and all electrical components.

• Remove the ignition key.

Removing

- Remove headlamp.

- Remove the cap on the back of the headlamp.

- Remove the reflector - 3 -=> [ (Item 3) Reflector ] Halogen Assembly Overview, From 07.2005.

- Remove screws - arrows -.





- Remove the axle - 3 - from the guide in the reflector.

- Remove the positioning motor - 1 - with the bracket - 2 -.

- Disconnect the connector - arrow - on the positioning motor.





Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- To make the installation easier, tape the bracket - 3 - to the positioning motor - 2 -.





• After assembling, remove the tape.

Tightening specification - 1 -: 2 Nm

- Check headlamp adjustment and adjust the headlamps.
