Multi-Function Transmission Range Switch, Removing

- Place selector lever in position "N".

- Switch ignition off.

- Do not open cooling system.

- Press selector lever cable lock - 3 - together and pull selector lever cable upward out of bracket.





- Disconnect selector lever cable - 1 - by hand from lever/selector shaft.

- Take care not to bend or kink selector lever cable.

- Disconnect connector from Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch (F125).

- Remove nut - 1 -.





- Remove spring washer - 2 - and lever - 3 - from shift rod - 4 -.

- Bend hooks of locking washer - 2 - back using a screwdriver.





- Replace locking washer if hooks are broken off.

- Remove nut - 1 -.

- Remove bolt - 5 -.

- Remove multi-function switch - 4 - with washers - 2 - and - 3 - from shift rod - 6 -.
