EVAP Canister Filter

Removing

The evaporative emission filter is located on the top of the fuel tank at the left frame rail.

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.

- Remove the left rear wheelhouse liner.






- Disconnect the vent tube hose (1).

- Lower the fuel tank enough to gain access to the EVAP filter. Refer to => [ Fuel Tank ] Fuel Tank.






- Remove the EVAP canister filter hose (3) from EVAP canister.

- Remove the EVAP canister filter (2) from the frame rail (1).

Installing






- Install the EVAP canister filter (2) to frame rail (1).

- Install the EVAP canister filter hose (3) to EVAP canister.

- Raise the fuel tank into vehicle position. Refer to => [ Fuel Tank ] Fuel Tank.






- Connect the vent tube hose (1).

- Install the left rear wheelhouse liner.

- Connect the negative battery cable.
