Electronic Steering Column Lock Control Module (J764)


Follow the procedure in the Repair Information when disconnecting and connecting the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

• Code the new electronic steering column lock control module. Refer to => [ Electronic Steering Column Lock Control Module (J764), With KESSY, From 06.10, Coding ] Electronic Steering Column Lock Control Module (J764), With KESSY, From 06.10, Coding.

• The electronic steering column lock control module and the steering column switch base carrier are removed and installed together.

Removing

- Disconnect the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Remove base carrier for steering column switches. Refer to=> [ Base Carrier For Steering Column Switches ] Base Carrier For Steering Column Switches.
