Removing







- Disconnect the negative battery cable.

- Remove the engine cover (1).







- Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the MAP sensor.







- Rotate the MAP sensor 1/4 turn counterclockwise and pull the sensor straight up and out of the upper intake manifold.







- The MAP sensor O-ring (1) can be reused if not damaged.






Installing







- The manifold air pressure (MAP) sensor O-ring (1) can be reused if not damaged.

- Apply a small amount of engine oil to the sensor O-ring (1).







- Install the MAP sensor (1) into the upper intake manifold and rotate 1/4 turn clockwise.







- Connect and lock the electrical connector (1) to the sensor.







- Install the engine cover (1).

- Connect the negative battery cable.
